About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable Welder / Fabrication Technician who primarily has experience with MIG welding, with TIG welding experience being a plus. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help fabricate, repair, and assemble metal components used in industrial and electrical systems.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, problem-solving, and seeing the finished results of what they build every day.
What You’ll Do
- Perform primarily MIG welding with occasional TIG welding as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, measurements, and fabrication plans
- Cut, grind, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly
- Fabricate and assemble metal frames, brackets, panels, and custom components
- Operate welding machines, grinders, saws, drills, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect welds and finished products for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
- Assist with modifications, repairs, and custom fabrication projects
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
- Communicate completed work, material needs, or issues with supervisors and team members
What You Bring
- Experience with MIG welding required
- TIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures, fabrication drawings, and basic blueprints
- Comfort using fabrication tools, grinders, cutting equipment, and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependability, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Bonus Skills
- Experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing
- Familiarity with fitting, layout work, or custom fabrication
- Experience working around electrical enclosures, control panels, or industrial equipment
- Ability to operate forklifts or shop equipment
- Understanding of shop safety practices and PPE requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing, bending, grinding, and welding throughout the day
- Ability to work in a shop environment with heat, noise, and fabrication equipment
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
