Our busy oral surgery practice is seeking a Treatment Plan Coordinator to guide patients through their treatment journey while delivering an exceptional patient experience.
This role serves as the bridge between the clinical team and the patient by presenting treatment recommendations, discussing financial options, coordinating insurance benefits, and helping patients move forward with the care they need. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, organization, and the ability to build trust with patients facing significant healthcare decisions.

Present doctor-recommended treatment plans in a clear, compassionate, and easy-to-understand manner.

Educate patients on recommended procedures, associated fees, insurance benefits, and financing options.

Build trust with patients while helping them make informed decisions about their care.

Confidently address financial concerns and overcome barriers by offering available payment and financing solutions.

Follow up with patients who have not yet scheduled treatment to answer questions and encourage case acceptance.

Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients.

Submit insurance claims and accurately post insurance and patient payments.

Assist patients with financing options and payment arrangements.

Manage collections and maintain accurate patient account records.

Schedule consultations, surgeries, and follow-up appointments.

Coordinate treatment schedules to maximize provider efficiency and patient convenience.

Perform front office and administrative duties to support daily operations.

Maintain accurate patient documentation and account information.

Collaborate closely with surgeons, clinical staff, and front office team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Foster positive relationships with patients, referring offices, and fellow team members.

Contribute to practice goals by promoting exceptional service, operational efficiency, and strong case acceptance.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous dental or medical administrative experience required.

Previous dental or medical insurance and billing experience preferred.

Experience presenting treatment plans or working in consultative sales, healthcare coordination, high-end retail, or financial services is strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
