Experienced Floor Technician - Bexley
Position SummaryThe Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring hard floor and carpeted surfaces to a clean, safe, and professional standard. This role requires experience with floor care equipment and techniques, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and general maintenance.

Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in assigned areas

Operate floor care equipment such as:

Buffers
-
Burnishers
-
Auto scrubbers
-
Perform floor stripping and waxing
-
Apply finishes and sealants to protect flooring surfaces

Clean and maintain carpets using appropriate equipment (as needed)

Follow all safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment

Maintain equipment in good working condition and report issues

Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe

Follow client site rules and company policies at all times

Prior floor care experience is required

Knowledge of proper use of floor equipment and chemicals

Ability to operate buffers, burnishers, and scrubbers safely

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and quality of work

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting

Ability to push/pull floor equipment
-
Must follow all company safety guidelines

Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required
