The Opportunity
As an Implementation Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for new clients, setting up their financial systems and supporting them through every step of the implementation process. Each client brings unique challenges, which include catching up accounting records that are behind, correcting accounting errors, and setting clients up on standardized systems. What you’ll do
· Set up and manage bookkeeping services for new clients using QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and other platforms.
· Configure accounting software, perform data entry, and identify all relevant bank accounts, loans, and balance sheet items.
· Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and monthly/annual closing procedures.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supplemental reports.
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients during their implementation, providing support and answering questions by email or video call.
· Manage sales tax filings, including preparing and submitting forms and processing payments.
· Archive and document all workpapers, supporting documents, and client communications on the company’s shared drive.
· Complete special projects, historical bookkeeping, and chart of accounts conversions as needed.
· Maintain accurate records, update task management systems, and ensure all client services are delivered on time and with attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
· minimum of 3 years of progressive experience with full-cycle bookkeeping
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
· Outstanding time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable internet connection and professional workspace.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
