Job Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Budtenders/Sales Associates at our retail marijuana dispensary. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, educating customers on our products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position involves direct interaction with customers, accurate product knowledge, and adherence to all relevant regulations. Reliability and punctuality is a must.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Provide accurate information about cannabis products, strains, and usage.
- Guide customers through the purchasing process, ensuring their needs are met.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
- Educate customers on the various attributes and effects of different products.
- Assist customers in making informed decisions based on their preferences and needs.
- Sales and Upselling:
- Effectively communicate promotions, discounts, and upselling opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets through product recommendations and suggestive selling.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash and electronic payments.
Compliance:
- Adhere to all local and state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with age restrictions.
- Keep up-to-date on changes in regulations and company policies.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve overall dispensary goals.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is required.
- Familiarity with cannabis products and a passion for the industry.
- POS software and cash handling experience preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations.

- Ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

- Assist with labeling third party products as they come in.
