We seeking an ADAS/ADS Evaluation Engineer to support the development and evaluation of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving Systems (ADS). This role focuses on testing, benchmarking, and analyzing vehicle performance on public roads, proving grounds, and test environments.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and tune ADAS/ADS systems for North American driving conditions.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and operate test vehicles, sensors, and data acquisition equipment.
- Collect, analyze, and report vehicle test data.
- Benchmark competitor ADAS systems using GPS, cameras, and other sensors.
- Support proof-of-concept system development and performance improvements.
- Conduct testing on public roads and closed-course proving grounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience evaluating ADAS or ADS systems.
- Experience with data acquisition tools such as CANalyzer, VBox, Panel 4, or similar.
- Knowledge of high-precision GPS and vehicle testing equipment.
- Basic programming experience using MATLAB, Python, or similar for data analysis.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Ability to work onsite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with simulation, closed-track, or on-road vehicle testing.
- Knowledge of ADAS regulations and validation protocols.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Understanding of radar, camera vision, LiDAR, or sonar systems.
- Experience with robotics or ROS.
