Travel Pay: Up to $2,080/week
Local Pay: $52/hour
Taxable Rate: Up to $27/hour
Travel Stipend: Up to $1,000/week for eligible travelers
Travel Endoscopy RN Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) for a 20-week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced endoscopy nurse with strong procedural, sedation, and recovery skills who is comfortable working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Job Details

- Pay: Up to $2,080/week
- Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts
- Shift: Days
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:2
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- Floating: Within scope of practice as needed
- Charting: Epic
- Travel Experience: Required
- First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
Endoscopy Department
- 8 procedure rooms
- Approximately 45–65 cases per day
- Inpatient and outpatient procedures
- GI and interventional endoscopy
- In-house anesthesia support
- Respiratory therapy support for bronchoscopies
Procedures include:
- EGD
- Colonoscopy
- Bronchoscopy
- ERCP
- EUS
- POEM
- Cystogastrostomy
- Complex interventional GI procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care
- Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures
- Monitor patients during conscious sedation
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation
- Monitor vital signs and patient response throughout procedures
- Recover patients following conscious sedation
- Circulate during endoscopic procedures
- Assist with EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and other GI procedures
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize dysrhythmias
- Handle and accurately label specimens
- Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, respiratory therapy, GI technicians, and other clinical teams
- Document patient care accurately in Epic
Minimum Qualifications
- Active RN license
- GA or Compact RN license required at submission
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy RN experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS
- Epic experience
- Experience with conscious sedation
- Endoscopy procedural experience
- Pre- and post-procedure nursing experience
- Experience recovering patients from conscious sedation
