We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our evening shift to oversee nursing care delivery, supervise staff, and ensure positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction. The Charge Nurse ensures compliance with care standards, physician orders, and all regulatory requirements.
Supervise nursing staff and support team performance during shift
Deliver and oversee high-quality resident care
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers
Communicate resident condition changes to physicians and families
Assign CNA duties, breaks, and resident assignments
Lead shift huddles and communicate updates to leadership
Complete accurate documentation and incident reports
Maintain infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance
Participate in surveys and inspections
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs
Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
Active LPN license in the state of practice
Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification
Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
Reliable and organized
Strong communicator and team player
Calm in fast-paced environments
