Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring correct information is executed in production and the production team meets its scheduled goals. The scope of work includes planning, scheduling, directing and executing production activities for maximum performance on projects. Other duties include the development of cost-effective measures with the aim of achieving exceptional business practices. This position works under direct supervision.

Essential Functions
- Create/enter Purchase Orders and Proformas
- Issue and release work order with appropriate inventory pulling sheet / inventory adjustment sheet
- Direct communication with production manager to obtain production status
- Track orders from Purchase Orders to Ship
- Coordinate Sales Partner samples
- Create and maintain open PO report
- Update shipments and shipping documents
- Other assigned tasks
Local Essential Functions
- Must be organize and detail oriented
- Bi-lingual preferred not required (Mandarin)
- Proficient in Excel (Microsoft Office) is MUST
- Highly organized in all aspects of email communication
- Must possess a passion to learn and grow within a small office environment. This individual has the ability to grow and expand their role and responsibilities within this fast-paced, deadline driven company based on performance, and what bandwidth that can be taken on
- Ability to use measurement tools and compare measurements to schematic / drawings
- Inspect work in progress to documented quality standards
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the lighting / electrical industry (Will train)
- Continue training in new processes and products
- Other duties as assigned
Education
- Bachelor Degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience working in purchasing, production coordinate or related field
Skills
- Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Familiar with Sage Accounting Software is a plus
- Ability to read, understand, and navigate through assembly process documents
- Ability to communicate and follow instructions effectively both verbally and in written format
- Ability to multi-task
