Bar Bagel is looking for an experienced, dependable team member to join our fast-paced breakfast café. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, can adapt quickly, and is comfortable working in multiple areas of the shop, including the espresso bar, deli, grill, and food prep.
We value reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Previous food service experience is required, and experience in a high-volume café, deli, or breakfast restaurant is strongly preferred. If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with a great team, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, and specialty beverages
- Prepare breakfast sandwiches, deli sandwiches, and grill items
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with food preparation and stocking
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently during busy morning rushes
- Support teammates and assist in multiple areas of the café as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- Previous food service experience
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend availability
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
Preferred:
- Previous barista experience
- Deli or grill experience
- Experience in a high-volume café or breakfast restaurant
- ServSafe Food Handler or Manager Certification
