Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Festival Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics operations for large-scale events. This pivotal role involves managing warehouse distribution, procurement, transportation planning, and inventory control to ensure seamless festival operations. Duties
- Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Develop and implement process improvements for warehouse distribution, inventory management, and logistics workflows to enhance operational performance.
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and reporting using tools such as SQL, Excel data analysis, Tableau, and spreadsheets to monitor inventory levels, demand planning, and freight costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production planning, vendor management, customer service, and dispatching to streamline order fulfillment and inventory control processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), or ERP platforms like SAP or AS400.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including stocking, inventory control, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
- Proficiency in data analysis skills utilizing SQL, Excel (including spreadsheets and data analysis), Tableau or similar visualization tools for supply chain analytics.
- Familiarity with demand planning, production planning (MRP), trade compliance regulations, international trade procedures, and freight forwarding processes involving 3PL providers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration across logistics management, customer service teams, and vendors.
- Ability to practice manual handling safely while managing inventory control tasks in fast-paced environments.
