Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and fixtures with proper sanitation procedures
- Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and stairwells by sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Use cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, window cleaning tools, and other janitorial supplies
- Follow infection control protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety for yourself and guests
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large supplies while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines
- Conduct window cleaning and floor care using appropriate techniques to uphold high standards of presentation
- Support custodial activities like sanitation checks and routine maintenance to promote a hygienic environment at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within commercial or hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including chemical handling and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Familiarity with infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards across all areas
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
