Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a hospital setting. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, the RN will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress, updating care plans as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and bedside point-of-care testing in accordance with hospital policies.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies or complex clinical situations.
- Prioritize patient care based on acuity while maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
- Promote patient safety by following infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in unit-based initiatives, performance improvement projects, and continuing education activities.
- Support a collaborative team environment by mentoring peers and contributing to departmental goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in an acute care hospital.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of North Carolina or a valid Compact RN License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,150.00 per week
