Prismatic is seeking an imaginative and seasoned part-time Creative & Content Marketing Copywriter to join our team. As a wordsmith and voice conjurer, you'll craft captivating copy across various marketing materials—think advertisements, social media posts, blogs, emails, brand vision copy, and beyond. Working closely with our vibrant creative team, you'll help create and propel distinct and unique brand voices, ensuring every piece of content is uniquely tailored to each brand's personality.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency setting, with a heavy emphasis on creativity, attention to detail, brand/identity design, marketing collateral, and advertising
- Candidates must have an online portfolio demonstrating writing skills, creativity, and range of work
- College degree or demonstrated equivalent work experience in advertising, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Lives within the U.S. and possesses unrestricted work authorization
- Experience writing for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Experience writing content for social media accounts
Fluencies:
- MacOS and Apple software, including Keynote
- Google Workspace, including Mail, Docs, Sheets, etc.
- Microsoft Office products, such as PowerPoint and Word, including track changes and comment functions
- Video and teleconferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- Project management and collaboration tools (Slack, ClickUp, etc.)
- File-sharing tools (VPN/remote server connections, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.)
- Strong understanding of content marketing, including social media, blogs, and email campaigns
- Demonstrated ability to work within established brand guidelines and established brand “voices”
- Exceptional proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work remotely with flexible, part-time hours
Role + Responsibilities:
- Utilize strategy, brand standards, and creative briefs to develop engaging and creative copy for marketing materials, advertisements, social media, blogs, and emails
- Collaborate with the creative team to capture, convey, and maintain unique and distinguishable personalities through creative and engaging copy
- Forge novel concepts related to the creation of brands: name concepts, taglines, key messages, and related narrative
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and discovery sessions to understand project requirements, contribute creative ideas, and advance work
- Proofread and refine copy produced by other team members to ensure high-quality and consistent content
- Adapt writing style to suit both B2B and B2C audiences, maintaining attention to detail and brand consistency
- Keep up-to-date with advancements and champion the continued evolution and improvement of copywriting techniques including consumer behavior, branding, multimedia content, compliance and ethical standards, SEO, trends, tools, and platforms
- Alternate efficiently and effectively between working independently and as a part of a larger team
- Develop multiple concepts in a variety of styles and take creative direction/revisions
- Maintain and manage clean, well-organized files and assets that can be handed off to others if and when needed
- Nurture a collaborative environment and healthy team dynamic that creates a safe space for ideas to flourish
- Engage in direct communication with clients and provide referral-generating customer service
- Expect and manage the reprioritization of tasks according to changes in project timelines and deadlines
- Coordinate with the team on project reports, proposals, estimates, and invoicing related to contributions
- Attend client or team meetings and presentations professionally through mostly virtual forums
- Manage and track time effectively by project, and give accurate assessments of the workload and the time required to complete tasks
- Maintain Prismatic quality and make sure only the best work is released to clients

- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with others, including clients, through email, instant messages, spoken word, and virtual meetings, as well as synthesizing and organizing feedback effectively
- Emotional Intelligence: Gives and receives creative direction and constructive criticism with a professional attitude and positively handles feedback, while setting an empathetic example for other team members to follow
- Collaboration: Demonstrates skill and a passion for working closely with team members, clients, and vendor partners to provide referral-inducing service
