Apollos Water South is a local family-owned business seeking an IMMEDIATE Class A CDL Driver. We are looking for an energetic, dependable driver ready to join our team!
Requirements Include the Following:
- CDL Class A License
- Tanker Endorsement & 1 Year of Tanker Driving Experience
- Hazardous Waste Endorsement
- Must Pass DOT Physical, Background Check and DOT Drug Screens
- DUI/DWI in the Last 5 Years Not Permitted
- Must be 21 Years of Age
- No Opportunities for SAP Drivers
This Opportunity Includes the Following Responsibilities:
Load and unload cargo safely and in a timely manner
- Pick up and deliver goods while operating a tractor trailer
- Comply with all company policies as well as all federal, state and local regulations
- Record all loads correctly and timely per company policy
- Responsible for turning in all paperwork to include HOS logs, manifests, BOL's and al
Use the ELD daily for recording all HOS activity through messages
- Perform a pre-trip and post-trip daily and report any issues to management and record on
the E L D
- Follow all applicable traffic laws
- Report to the dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road or at the pick up/delivery
site
- Report any equipment issues to management
- Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs
- Follow all Hazardous Waste policies and procedures
- Keep truck and equipment clean and in good working condition
