Job Summary
Regency Security Group is currently seeking two professional and dependable Security Rover Officers to join our team in Pasadena. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and highly visible presence across assigned properties through proactive patrol, incident response, and strong situational awareness.
As a Rover Officer, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols, monitoring for suspicious activity, responding to onsite incidents, and ensuring the overall safety of residents, tenants, visitors, and property staff. Officers must maintain a professional appearance, communicate effectively, and uphold Regency Security Group’s standards of accountability, visibility, and client service.

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols throughout assigned properties and surrounding areas
- Monitor for trespassing, loitering, vandalism, theft, suspicious activity, and safety hazards
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and service calls
- Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and patrol documentation through the Guard Owl reporting platform
- Maintain strong visibility onsite to help deter criminal activity and support overall property safety
- Observe and report maintenance concerns, lighting outages, gate issues, or other property related hazards
- Assist with access control, parking enforcement, and enforcement of property rules when necessary
- Communicate effectively with onsite management, residents, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders
- De escalate conflicts professionally while maintaining composure in high pressure situations
- Support emergency response efforts and follow established safety and operational procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card required
- Previous security, patrol, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication and report writing abilities
- Comfortable conducting extended foot and vehicle patrols throughout shifts
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and proactive during incidents or emergencies
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not required
