What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot compactors, balers, dock levelers, and related equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Repair and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency service calls
- Operate and maintain a company service truck
- Participate in rotating on‑call shifts (overtime common)
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
What You Bring
- Hands‑on experience with hydraulic repair
- Experience with compactors, balers, or similar industrial equipment (preferred)
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
- Comfort working in tight, dirty, or noisy environments
- A safety‑first mindset
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Field‑based role with travel to job sites
- Ability to lift/move up to 60 lbs
- Work in confined spaces, varied temperatures, and loud environments
- PPE required (eye, ear, foot protection)

- Keeps equipment running safely with minimal downtime
- Communicates clearly with dispatch, clients, and team members
- Completes service records accurately and maintains tools and vehicles

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
