Schedule: Monday-Friday, schedule based on facility hours of 7:30am-6:00pm
Wage: $16.00 per hour

About the Roles:
Are you passionate about working with children and making a real impact in your community? The Arc Lane County is hiring an enthusiastic Teacher Aide to support our inclusive youth programs:
- JumpStart Preschool: Inspire and care for young learners ages 3–5 in a nurturing early education setting.
- ESTEAM Afterschool/Summer Program: Spark creativity and confidence in school-aged kids through hands-on Science, Tech, Engineering, Art, and Math fun!
What You’ll Do:
- Assist Lead Teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive activities.
- Supervise and interact with children during play, learning, meals, and more.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all.
- Foster communication with families and help document daily progress.
- Support children’s needs including personal care and social-emotional development.
- Provide coverage for coworkers as needed for breaks.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Age 18 or older
- Reliable, energetic, and ready to be a positive role model
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with diverse children and families
- Team player with flexibility and a can-do attitude
- Able to pass state and federal background checks
- Active enrollment in the Central Background Check Registry
Bonus points for:

- Experience with developmental disabilities
- Background in child development or education
- One year in a childcare setting
- Valid Oregon driver’s license & insurance, with at least one year of driving experience
