Our newly renovated dental practice is looking for a talented and experienced dental assistant to join our team!
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a chair side dental assistant, minimum TWO years.
- Familiarity with dental software and taking radiographs
- Organizational skills. Keeping things stocked and clean. Keeping detailed records such as lab logs and supply ordering.
- Team player! Helping front desk when needed, helping hygienists when needed.
Duties:
- Positive patient interactions and bedside manner
- Assist the dentists and hygienists during procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Intraoral scan and knowledge of Invisalign aligners and retainers preferred
- Take x-rays
- Take impressions and make temporary crowns
- Basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models, trimming impressions, making essix
