We are looking for someone who has availability to work Thursday-Sunday. Day and evening shifts. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote special offers effectively
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food prep, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety standards throughout shifts
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and calculate change
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during busy shifts
- Experience working in a café, grocery store, or the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
