Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful impact on the lives of people with intellectual and other disabilities (I/DD) in our Community Living Services program.
At AHRC Nassau, our mission is to empower people to live fulfilling lives. Together with Family – Friends – Community.
DSPs provide person-centered support with daily routines such as self-care, health and safety, household chores, meal preparation, and community involvement, while encouraging independence and engagement. You’ll collaborate daily with fellow DSPs and a supportive team of supervisors and clinical staff to ensure quality support. This role also includes following treatment plans, documenting support, and providing transportation for appointments and activities as needed.

We Require:
- Valid NYS drivers' license and maintain a qualified driver status throughout employment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- HS Diploma preferred
- Passion to help others and a great personality!

Prior experience as a DSP, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is a plus, but not required.
