Now Hiring: Metrologist | Calabasas, CA (On-Site)
Role Overview:
The hiring team is looking for a Metrologist to support incoming receiving inspection activities and measurement systems within the NPI Engineering organization.
Although other global sites already have dedicated Metrologists, this is still a developing function at the Calabasas location. The goal is to align processes and quality standards across all sites.
This individual will support:
- Incoming receiving inspections
- Component inspections
- Measurement system oversight
- Inspection equipment management
- Procedure creation and maintenance
- Inspector training
- Calibration and preventive maintenance activities
- Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
- The role will also work closely with Design Engineering and Product Development teams to create inspection instructions, define measurement methods, and ensure products are properly documented before release into the system.
Candidates should ideally have experience with:
- CMM machines
- Optical inspection systems
- Vision control systems
- Receiving inspection equipment
- Measurement and calibration systems
The Metrologist will help ensure:
- Equipment is properly calibrated
- Inspection procedures are maintained
- Measurement systems are accurate and repeatable
- Inspectors are properly trained
- Equipment tolerances and MSA requirements are met
Preferred experience includes:
- Metrology experience
- Receiving inspection background
- Quality engineering exposure
- Inspection procedure development
- Documentation creation
- MSA and calibration knowledge
- Training/coaching inspectors
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred certifications (nice to have):
- ASQ certifications
- MSA certifications
- Additional metrology or quality certifications
- Strong metrology backgrounds
- Quality systems experience
- Receiving inspection expertise
- CMM and optical inspection experience
- Documentation/procedure creation skills
- Training or leadership experience
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Candidates with certifications or advanced measurement systems experience should be highlighted.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT
Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington
Pay: $86,000.00 - $91,000.00 per year
