Van Holten's Pickles is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Assist with equipment upgrades, rebuilds, and installation projects
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements
- Complete maintenance work orders and related documentation
- Work closely with production and operations teams to improve equipment reliability
What We're Looking For
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with motors, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Experience troubleshooting production, packaging, or other industrial equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems is helpful
- Basic welding, fabrication, and machining skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and solve problems with urgency
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented bilingual (English/Spanish) environment
- Employees are expected to provide standard personal hand tools appropriate for the role
