As a Security Guard GED Verified Patrol Associate in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions appropriate to a government location serving vulnerable populations.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.

Monitor visitor, staff, and resident movement in accordance with site protocols, offering directions, de-escalation support, and professional communication during routine and high-traffic periods.

Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a visible presence to help support order and compliance with location rules.
Minimum Requirements:

A New York State Security Guard License is required.

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
