Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools to execute repairs efficiently.
- Work with advanced diagnostic technology and auto electrical systems to calibrate and troubleshoot modern vehicles.
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics to guide repairs on complex mechanical systems on gasoline and diesel engines.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership or independent shop environments.
- Hands-on experience with gasoline / diesel engine repair, transmission repair, automotive suspension system repair, brake repair, and auto body repair.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and A/C systems.
- Experience working with foreign and domestic vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical systems repair tools.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with a commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance and safety.
