You Will Make an Impact By:

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
-
Assisting ophthalmologist(s) in clinic, surgery and research in delivery of the highest standards of patient care by following the policies and procedures of the clinic operation and physician direction.

Ensuring appropriate clinical staffing, and overseeing the hiring, orientation, performance evaluations, training, coaching, and counseling of all clinical support staff.

Serving as a liaison between physicians, management team and clinical support staff; conducting regular team meetings to ensure effective communication.
- Monitoring hours worked and clinical support staff utilization and fully understands the various clinical support roles.
- Building and fostering a positive team environment and promoting a positive work culture and experience.

Coaching, mentoring and developing team members for continued growth and success.

Participating in annual performance reviews by providing feedback and identifying development needs and opportunities for staff.
You Have:
-
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, or two to three years’ related experience required
-
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant or Certified Ophthalmic Technician certification required
-
Previous management experience in a healthcare setting preferred
