Summary
Kömmerling USA, part of the profine Group, is seeking motivated Production Operators with experience in laminating, coating, or surface finishing processes to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama.
This role focuses on operating laminating and foiling lines used for surface finishing of PVC profiles. Candidates with experience in film-based materials, adhesives, coating, or similar manufacturing processes are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate foiling and lamination machines according to production requirements and work instructions
- Work with film materials, adhesives, and surface finishing systems
- Prepare materials, load and unload rolls (foils), and monitor production parameters
- Perform basic adjustments and assist with machine startup and shutdown procedures
- Ensure proper foil application and surface quality on PVC profiles
- Conduct visual and dimensional quality checks using measuring tools
- Record production data accurately and report deviations or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support continuous improvement and follow safety and quality standards
- Cooperate with team members, supervisors, and maintenance staff to ensure efficient operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Lead Operator or Supervisor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in laminating, coating, film processing, surface finishing, or similar manufacturing processes preferred
- Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with roll-based materials, adhesives, or coated surfaces is a strong plus
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to make basic adjustments
- Familiarity with measuring tools
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts
