Junior Commercial Transaction Specialist
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: Full time – M-F (8am-5pm)
Pay rate: $24-25/hr
Calculated Hire is in search of a Junior Commercial Transaction Specialist for our Fortune 100 Financial Services company. You will be responsible for the following components:
Job Summary:
- Perform daily loan servicing and operational support activities, including transaction processing, system updates, and customer support.
- Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, proper funds movement, and alignment with general ledger balances.
- Monitor loan systems, research discrepancies, and resolve moderately complex issues related to payments, account activity, and customer inquiries.
- Conduct detailed reconciliations and data analysis, performing deep-dive investigations into variances and out-of-balance conditions.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, supporting loan servicing inquiries, construction monitoring, and disbursement activity.
- Manage collateral-related processes, including tracking, payoff preparation, and release activities.
- Review and audit loan data for accuracy across system setups, maintenance, and reporting.
- Navigate and utilize internal systems and tools to support efficient and accurate servicing operations.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of payments, transaction, or accounting experience. Preference for true Reconciliation experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of AFS experience
- Loan IQ experience
- CEO/Vantage experience
- Analyze and interpret financial information
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlines
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
