Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner for a private vocational school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a commercial setting. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, ensuring they are free from dirt, debris, and hazards.
- Perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct commercial cleaning duties such as restroom sanitation, floor care, and waste disposal.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as custodial work, or commercial/industrial cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
- Bilingual preferred
Must speak some English and be able to work in the United States. Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00.
