Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant/Gate Guard (non-lifeguard position) to join our team summer (now to the end of September). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a controlled and enjoyable environment for all members and guests in the pool area. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently while providing top-notch hospitality. This is not a lifeguard position. This is a temporary position, beginning now and ending at a date to be determined in September 2026 at the end of the pool season.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure adherence to building rules and regulations.
- Check in members daily and collect guest passes.
- Test pool water and report out-of-range results to building maintenance.
- Clean and help maintain the pool and pool deck.
- Provide exceptional guest services, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including but not limited to straightening chairs, skimming the pool, and reporting spills/messes to housekeeping.
- Manage conflicts effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all members.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Excellent conflict management skills to resolve issues amicably.
- Responsible and dependable individuals with an attention to detail.
- Shifts are - Friday to Sunday 10AM-4:30PM
