Staffing Specialist - Bilingual : Woodstock , Illinois
Our Woodstock , Illinois branch is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Bilingual Staffing Specialist to join our growing team. This role plays a vital part in fostering strong client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service to both clients and candidates. Responsibilities include interviewing applicants, managing job orders, recruiting and placing qualified candidates, answering incoming calls, and maintaining professional, enthusiastic communication at all times .
The Staffing Specialist works closely with the Branch Manager to receive guidance, coordinate priorities, and provide regular updates on staffing activities. While collaborating with branch leadership, the Staffing Specialist is expected to take ownership of staffing operations and contribute directly to the overall success and productivity of the Staffing Services Team.
Responsibilities of the Staffing Specialist - Bilingual:
Staffing
- Record new job orders (capture details and enter into computer system).
- Conduct targeted online searches for candidates (resume sourcing) and make initial candidate contact.
- Conduct applicant interviews.
- Fulfill job orders (call potential applicants, email bios/resumes to clients, and schedule interviews).
- Provide post-offer onboarding support (hiring documents, safety/harassment videos, drug testing, customer orientation).
- Provide phone support (answer office phone as needed).
- Provide applicant check-in support (enter applicant availability into computer system).
- Participate in candidate recruitment efforts (job fairs, Internet, other media).
Account Management
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, with the goal of staying current on their evolving needs.
- Participate in candidate/client outreach activities (lunch-and-learn classes, employment forums, client worksite presentations).
- Attend various networking opportunities on behalf of the company (community and business events such as monthly Chamber Business After Hours, Rise & Shine, and Young Professional’s Network).
- Complete various special projects as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Employee Maintenance
- Conduct new assignment start applicant / client follow-ups at direction of the Branch Manager.
- Perform follow-up calls to employees on all daily call-offs.
- Initiate temporary employee disciplinary activities (deliver verbal/written warnings regarding attendance, attitude, safety, etc.).
- Gather and record unemployment-related documentation (enter information into computer system) and participate in UI hearings as needed.
- In the absence of a Staffing Coordinator, the Staffing Coordinator duties are shared amongst the Staffing Team. The Staffing Team is responsible for ensuring that the Staffing Coordinator duties are completed.

Staffing Specialist Requirements:
- Previous clerical work experience.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Associate’s degree or equivalent.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Pay for Staffing Specialist : $50,000–$ 60,000 /year depending on experience .
