We have a fun, friendly work environment and are looking to hire a seasonal full-time installer to help our installation teams with the construction and installation of awnings! The position starts and ends the day in Williston, Vermont, but is on the road with our awesome installers assisting with the installation of retractable and stationary awnings
The successful candidate will work with our installation teams to install custom awning and shade products throughout Vermont, parts of New York and New Hampshire. We are willing to train, we provide company clothing and transportation to job sites, and we offer a fun, positive working environment!
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, lift overhead and climb ladders
- Ability to project professional image and interact positively with clients, co-workers, construction vendors, and others
- Comfortable with heights
- Self-motivated
- Have a positive and professional attitude
- Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. This position requires driving a company vehicle
Responsibilities:
- Lift and attach rigid or roll-up canvas and/or metal awnings and solar screens onto buildings, using hand tools and/or power tools
- Operate power tools and other necessary equipment to perform tasks necessary to complete awning installation to specifications
- Physical work for a full eight-to-ten hour workday
- Follow processes and procedures to completion
- Ability to be at work by 7:00AM in Williston.
