As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a full-time Human Resources Professional to help us maintain a strong, supportive, and compliant workplace culture.
Position Overview:
This hybrid role is ideal for an experienced HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible schedule. The position will be remote and in person and will require in-person attendance at occasional team meetings and trainings throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
- Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws
- Provide guidance to employees on HR best practices
- Assist with employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Participate in audits, compliance tracking, and policy development
- Coordinate and occasionally lead staff trainings or orientations
- Support change management initiatives by communicating effectively with employees regarding policy updates and organizational changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the developmental disabilities field or a related human services field
- 3+ years of professional HR experience
- Knowledge of Ohio employment laws and HR compliance standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a dispersed team
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
