We provide services in-home and in schools to children and teens with a wide variety of communication needs. The company is owned and operated by Brooke O'Leary, a practicing SLP with over 10 years of experience, who is available to observe sessions and collaborate with clinicians.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. This position has the flexibility to build a caseload that matches your wants and needs with a minimum of 5 clinical hours per week consisting of evaluations, therapy sessions, and consultations.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s communication development through personalized therapy sessions. As a vital member of our pediatric care team, you will provide expert speech therapy services, assess patient needs, and develop tailored intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster positive outcomes for young patients in a supportive environment that values growth and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Travel to and from the client's schools and homes
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Provide 1:1 or group therapy to client(s)
- Establish rapport with families and make recommendations for carryover
- Collaborate with teachers and other medical professionals (OT, Mental Health) on the clients’ team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Certificate of clinical competence - CCC
- Background check required
- Experience with ASD and pragmatic language disorders is valued
