Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on a full or part time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and and a commitment to the community and people they care for. This role involves working closely with patients to promote oral health and hygiene while ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. Our office has been an established practice for over 70 years in this location, We are a happy fun bunch who love to work together and we enjoy our work and our patients
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
- Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during patient visits.
- Assist in the management of infection control protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and team members.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Tab32 or similar dental software.
- Collaborate with dentists and other staff to provide comprehensive care for all patients.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
- Familiarity with infection control practices within a dental clinic setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients
- Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using dental software is a plus.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
