Position Summary:
This position is responsible for fitting and welding steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components to meet precise quality and specification requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Fit and weld components using TIG and MIG processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to determine specific welding requirements
- Produce high-quality welds that meet or exceed industry standards
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Class A TIG/MIG welder
- Proven ability to submit test specimens and successfully obtain or maintain certifications to:
- AWS D1.1
- AWS D1.2
- AWS D1.6
- ASME Section IX (ADS D9.1, if applicable)
- AWS D17.1
- Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and basic math
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
