Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Food Preparation Worker, over the age of 16, to join our team. In this role, you will operate a commercial dishwasher, and assist in the preparation of some food items, ensuring that all meals are prepared according to our high standards of quality and safety. Your contributions will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences in our restaurant setting.
Responsibilities
- Keep dishes and cookware clean and ready for use.
- Prepare and assemble food items according to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene.
- Assist chefs and cooks in various tasks as needed, including chopping, mixing, and cooking.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Skills
- Knowledge of operation of a commercial dishwasher.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Experience in a culinary setting is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
