In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions to restore daily living and work activities as prescribed by referring physicians. You will establish patient-centered goals, conduct regular reassessments, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluations & Care Plans: Perform detailed occupational therapy evaluations assessing physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. Develop individualized, measurable care plans executable by OTs and OTAs.
- Direct Patient Interventions: Administer safe, effective treatments including therapeutic exercise, adaptive equipment training, and patient education with timely documentation.
- Progress Tracking & Team Collaboration: Conduct regular reassessments, adjust treatment goals, and communicate updates to referring physicians and interdisciplinary teams (nurses, physicians, rehab specialists).
- Diverse Care Delivery: Apply age- and condition-specific treatment interventions across broad patient populations.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide orientation and ongoing mentorship to new clinical staff and occupational therapy students.
- Compliance &* Environment*: Maintain clean, safe therapy spaces and equipment. Ensure accurate billing and documentation in compliance with EMR protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to all facility policies and standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of clinical OT experience required (Hospital or rehabilitation facility experience preferred; New Grads are welcome).
- Licensure: Active state board Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) License required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certification required.
- Core Skills: Strong clinical knowledge of OT principles, EMR system proficiency, excellent communication, organizational abilities, and a commitment to patient privacy (HIPAA) and ethical standards.
