Owner Operator – Tow Truck / Vehicle Pickup Driver
Gershow Recycling Corporation is looking for dependable Owner Operators with their own flatbed tow truck or wrecker to pick up vehicles from customers and designated locations on a daily basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced tow truck operator who already has their own equipment and is looking for consistent work.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick up vehicles from customers, dealerships, auctions, and designated locations.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and deliver vehicles to our designated facilities.
- Complete multiple vehicle pickups throughout the day.
- Communicate professionally with customers and our dispatch/team.
- Follow pickup instructions and scheduled appointments.
- Take photos and provide required pickup documentation when requested.
- Safely operate and maintain your tow truck or flatbed.
- Ensure vehicles are handled carefully and transported safely.
- Communicate any delays, issues, or changes with the office.
- Follow all applicable DOT, safety, and company requirements.
Qualifications
- Must have your own flatbed tow truck or wrecker.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
- Previous towing, vehicle transport, or vehicle pickup experience preferred.
- Ability to safely load and secure vehicles.
- Reliable transportation and dependable work availability.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple pickups throughout the day.
- Must have the proper insurance and documentation required to operate as an owner operator.
