HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner, FNP, Adult Nurse Practitioner, ANP, or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, AGNP to join an Occupational Medicine Clinic based in Mount Vernon, Washington.
About the Opportunity:
Join a dedicated team providing essential occupational medicine care to migrant and underserved populations just north of Seattle. This clinician-owned clinic was founded to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients often overlooked by traditional healthcare systems.
The clinic primarily serves immigrants from Mexico and South America working in agriculture and other physically demanding industries. Patients are deeply grateful for their care, and the practice is growing — creating a new opportunity for an additional Nurse Practitioner.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Hybrid schedule – no call, no weekends
- Primarily based in the Mount Vernon office
- 3 days per week on-site in Mount Vernon
- 1–2 days per week supporting Lynnwood clinic
- Lynnwood days may be performed remotely
- Up to 2–3 remote workdays per week overall
- Optional, voluntary coverage in Bellingham
- Bellingham coverage is not required
Responsibilities:
- Treats patients with work-related injuries
- Sees lumbar and cervical sprain injuries
- Manages slip-and-fall work injuries
- Provides ongoing assessment for new symptoms
- Updates treatment plans as care progresses
- Makes referrals to specialists as needed
- Does not provide urgent or emergent care
- Cross-trains with on-site specialists
- Works in a Narcotic-Free practice
- Prescribes Anticonvulsants, NSAIDs, Muscle Relaxants
- Documents care using Occ. Health practices
- Maintains a goal of 14–16 patients per day
- Serves a diverse immigrant patient population
- Joins a clinician-owned, community practice
- Trains in orthopedic testing with mentorship
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree required
- Eligible to obtain WA state license
- New graduate NPs welcome to apply
- No prior occupational medicine experience needed
- On-the-job training and mentorship provided
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, not required
- Strong interpreter team supports providers
- Desire to serve the community
- Desire to learn a new specialty
Compensation & Benefits:
- New Graduate: Starting at $135,000
- Experienced: Up to $160,000, DOE
