RPosition SummaryThe Home Care Scheduler/Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and scheduling agency caregivers to ensure clients receive authorized services. This role maintains compliance with agency policies and is the primary liaison between clients, caregivers, and agency leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule caregivers for client visits based on availability, location, and client needs.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules.
- Fill open shifts and address last-minute call-offs, schedule changes, and emergencies.
- Match caregivers with clients according to care plans and service requirements.
- Monitor caregiver attendance, punctuality, and visit completion.
- Communicate schedule changes promptly to clients and caregivers.
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling
- Verify caregiver availability before assignments.
- Assist with onboarding new caregivers by entering availability and service areas.
- Train and coach caregivers on best practices and company care culture.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years scheduling, staffing, or healthcare coordination experience preferred.
- Experience in home care, home health, hospice, or healthcare staffing strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $28–$35/hour
