Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal File Clerk Assistant to support our immigration department. This role is responsible for maintaining legal files, organizing case documentation, tracking deadlines, and assisting with the preparation and review of immigration-related documents. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
This position is well suited for an individual who enjoys working with documentation, has strong administrative skills, and is eager to develop their knowledge in immigration processes.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, file and organize update immigration documents realted to religious visa.
- Assist in preparing document packages for attorney review and submission.
- Track filing deadlines, document expiration dates, and renewal schedules of visas.
- Perform data entry and ensure documents are properly labeled, and saved in the internal system.
- Assist the manager in coordinating with attorneys for visa petitions.
- Monitor document requests and follow up with individuals to obtain missing information.
- Ensure all files are maintained in accordance with organizational policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the department as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum six (6) months of prior experience in immigration administration and support, document management, records management, or a related administrative role. (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity or knowledge with immigration documentation is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
