Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assistant Booker to support our Treasurer with day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Treasurer with bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial recordkeeping
- Prepare and organize receipts, payments, and reports
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for compliance and audits
- Support administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and staff regarding billing or payment inquiries
- Ensure all financial data is properly recorded and up to date
Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Must be 21 years of age or older
