Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solid Surface Fabricator to join our dynamic cabinet shop. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming solid surface materials into high-quality countertops, vanity tops, and custom surfaces. Your expertise in fabrication, assembly, and materials handling will ensure precision craftsmanship and timely project completion. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble solid surface materials using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to create custom surfaces.
- Interpret project drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Perform material handling tasks including loading, unloading, and organizing supplies within the warehouse or fabrication area.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to ensure surfaces meet design standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing workflow for maximum productivity.
Requirements
- Experience preferred in manufacturing, carpentry, millwork, or related fabrication fields.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and carpentry tools effectively.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes including machining, assembly, and construction techniques.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
