Position Summary
We are looking for a first-class Client Service Specialist that is excited to contribute to a successful Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm. The ideal professional will be interested in starting or building on their financial industry experience by assisting advisors and support staff with administrative support and investment research. The employer is a well-established financial planning practice located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
The role is a full-time position (40 hrs./week). This is not a sales position.
Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative duties to support all financial advisors and support staff in the following areas:
· Assist with opening new client accounts through our custodians (Schwab and Pershing)
· Client onboarding (enter data into various applications) using electronic tools like DocuSign
· Assisting advisors in preparation or follow-up to client meetings
· Compliance support – ADV, SLOAs, and audits
· Maintain client data in CRM and performance reporting systems (Redtail, eMoney, Orion)
· Utilize eMoney software to build financial plans for clients
· Tracking and processing daily workflow
· Client first approach to all tasks

Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred)
· Must be detail oriented with strong math and analytical skills
· Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
· Experience in a financial planning or insurance business is preferred but not required
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and internet savvy
· Able to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated professionalism
· Happy working in a small office
· Ability to operate under limited/minimal supervision
