Clinical Operations Coordinator
Registered Nurse (RN) | Part-Time | 15–20 Hours/Week
Pay $48 to $55 hourly
Position Overview
Premium Life Care dba BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced, dependable, and solutions-oriented Clinical Operations Coordinator, RN to support the day-to-day clinical operations of our home care agency.
This is a part-time, in-person position (15–20 hours per week) with some local travel. The ideal candidate is a calm, confident RN who enjoys coordinating care, supporting staff, solving problems, and making sure patients receive excellent service.
We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude who sees what needs to be done and takes ownership of making it great.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Operations
- Review and respond to incoming patient and referral inquiries.
- Participate in the admission process and coordinate new patient starts of care.
- Complete nursing assessments and develop individualized Plans of Care.
- Review, obtain, and maintain physician/provider orders as required.
- Coordinate ongoing patient care and ensure Plans of Care remain current.
- Monitor patient needs and communicate changes appropriately.
- Provide clinical oversight and support for both skilled and non-skilled caregivers.
- Supervise and support field nurses and caregivers.
- Conduct supervisory visits and patient visits as needed.
- Assist with resolving patient, family, and caregiver concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Ensure care is delivered according to agency policies, physician orders, and applicable regulations.
Staff & Patient Maintenance
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, nurses, and caregivers.
- Help identify staffing needs and coordinate appropriate clinical coverage.
- Monitor continuity and quality of care.
- Follow up on changes in patient condition, staffing, or service needs.
- Assist with retaining strong nurses and caregivers through consistent communication and support.
Technology & Documentation
- Utilize electronic medical records and agency technology confidently.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and timely records.
- Communicate effectively through email, phone, electronic systems, and other agency platforms.
Qualifications
- Current California RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in home health/home care, including exposure to both skilled and non-skilled services.
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable working with technology and electronic documentation systems.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with the agency team.
- Willingness to travel locally for patient/staff visits as needed.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and appropriate insurance.

Schedule & Work Environment
- Part-time: approximately 15–20 hours per week

Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications.
