Job Summary: We seek a motivated Housekeeper to support the housekeeping team and maintain the iconic Sunstone Villa and Sunstone Cottage private residences, along with the rest of the Sunstone Estate facilities, ensuring a world-class hospitality experience amid our exquisite vineyards.

Reporting to: Supervising Housekeeper
Responsibilities:
1. Housekeeping:
Perform housekeeping duties for Sunstone Villa and Cottage, adhering to five-star
hospitality standards.
2. Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of Sunstone Villa and Cottage guest rooms, common
areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance
meet luxury standards.
Address and resolve any issues or deficiencies identified during inspections promptly.
Ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest quality and in
a timely manner.
3. Operational Efficiency
Implement and monitor best practices for efficient housekeeping operations,
including time management, task prioritization, and workflow optimization.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to address repair and maintenance issues
promptly.
4. Facility Maintenance:
Report any damages, hazards, repairs, or unusual occurrences in assigned areas
promptly to Supervising Housekeeper.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including the tasting room, administrative offices,
wine production facility, and restrooms.
Respond to and execute projects or requests developed by Supervising Housekeeper
and perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
5. General Housekeeping Tasks:
Restock supplies, sweep, mop, wash windows, clean and polish glassware, perform
laundry duties, ironing, watering plants, dusting, dish cleaning, trash removal, and
related activities.
Possess knowledge of cleaning products, usage, and special handling instructions,
ensuring safe and appropriate use on various surfaces.
6. Equipment Maintenance:
Assist with proper care, movement, and storage of all equipment and supplies.
Assist with ensuring areas are clean and sanitary, adhering to health and safety
standards at all times.
7. Event Support:
Assist with event clean-up, including straightening chairs, clearing dishes/glassware,
changing/replacing soiled table linen, vacuuming/sweeping the floor, emptying
trash, and restocking materials.
Qualifications:
Previous hotel housekeeping experience.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, processes, and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work onsite in Santa Ynez, California.
What We Offer:
Full-Time Hourly/Nonexempt position of 40 hours per week.
Wage of $20-23 per hour, depending on experience.
