You’ll play a vital role in supporting our physicians and empowering patients by:
- Performing advanced eye diagnostics (visual acuity, IOP checks, color/depth perception, and visual field testing)
- Conducting corneal and chamber exams, and using ultrasound tools to measure axial lengths
- Preparing and maintaining exam rooms and instruments
- Administering eye medications and assisting with minor surgical and laser procedures
- Supporting retina and multi-specialty workflows as needed
- Delivering confident, compassionate patient education and care instructions
- Contributing to a high-performing team that treats every patient like family
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in comprehensive ophthalmology—retina or multi-specialty preferred
- Completed an Ophthalmic Technician training/certification program
- Is comfortable with Nextech EMR or a similar system (preferred)
- Can travel to New Port Richey (2–3x/week), Clearwater (1x/week), and St. Pete (1–2x/month)
- Thrives under general supervision and brings initiative, energy, and creativity
- Brings warmth, empathy, and a can-do attitude to every patient encounter
