Local Gas is seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our team. As one of Central New York’s growing convenience and fueling operators, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Our team members provide support to general store operations to ensure every customer receives a safe and positive experience. This role is fast-paced and requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Receive and process payments (cash, check, vouchers, credit/debit cards) accurately and in accordance with company policies.

Issue receipts and complete register transactions following proper procedures.

Stock and front shelves and coolers; sweep and mop floors; dust shelves; empty trash; clean the parking lot, grounds, pumps, and windows as needed.

Safely lift, move, and transport store products or equipment up to 50 lbs., including shoveling snow when necessary.

Provide exceptional customer service to every customer.

Respond to customer concerns professionally and promptly.

Accurately scan all sales and follow established cash-handling procedures.

Report to work as scheduled unless prior arrangements are made with the Store Manager.

Safely dispense gasoline and diesel into customer vehicles and approved containers.

Sell and process lottery/lotto tickets in accordance with company and state policies.

Sell alcoholic beverages and tobacco products following all applicable laws and procedures.

Notify the Store Manager of out-of-stock items, customer requests, or special needs.

Report maintenance issues immediately.

Assist in keeping the store clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Ensure coolers, shelves, and merchandise displays remain fully stocked.

Clean and maintain store equipment and products as directed by the Store Manager.

Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
