Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Bakery Production Lead to oversee and guide our baking team using established company recipes. This pivotal role serves as the bridge between the baking team and the Bakery Manager, ensuring smooth operations and quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the baking team to ensure consistent product quality.
- Optimize staff schedules and manage daily employee concerns.
- Oversee supply orders and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Streamline workflows to meet daily production targets.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Communicate effectively with the Bakery Manager to align team goals with company objectives.
- Identify and implement improvements in production methods and product offerings.
Success in this Role Looks Like:
- Operational Excellence: Products consistently meet quality standards; production schedules are completed on time; inventory is well-managed.
- Team Leadership: Clear communication, well-trained staff, and high team morale with low turnover.
- Strategic Impact: Team activities align with company goals, problems are resolved proactively, and innovative ideas are implemented.
- Measurable Results: Daily production targets are met or exceeded, waste is reduced, and customer feedback is positive.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bakery production or food manufacturing leadership.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- At least high school diploma and an associate in business or some business management studies would be good but not required.
- Knew some very basic Spanish but also not required.
